Just as a note.... This is a back end splits. Back end meaning that I have to pop into the trick on the back end of the swing and it's harder than it looks. I've been trying to catch my return for MONTHS.....and I am a dork....you just have to watch and see! I wasn't ready to catch the bar....and I kicked the bar on the very next trick...ouch!

The internet is a great force. It can be used for good (as in using digital flashcards to help me prep for my history test) and not so good (when it's distracting me from using said cards). BUt no fear. I aced the test 100% woo hoo! And in celebration, here are a few of the random things that tore me away from what I *should* be doing. Email....did HW write? IM....did HW message me? Flickr.....any new challenges or ideas? Here...duh. And then there are the odd ones. Link Video...

Woo Hoo! I have to take it easy...I have school and work and work and the other work and being a mom to worry about and the incredible $$$$ that it would cost, but I can treat myself once a month. Imagine if you will..... A sad, dejected look on a normally cheerful face. Big blue eyes blinking away tears. Heartbreaking music filling the background. Are you feeling sympathetic? (If not, go look at some puppies and come back) I received sad news today. I will no longer be able to trade massages for trapeze lessons. One of the instructors is now dating a physical therapist who lives closer....and I can't afford fly time without trading. *insert sad face here* I hav...

Random Facts about HW on his birthday. He is 13878 days old today. He is 9 years older than his wife. I gave him a black eye once. He has no tattoos, no piercings, doesn't drink, smoke or do drugs.... He can lock a grown man up at parade rest and make him cry....he just doesn't do it very often. He has a GTO so his cool points are so high that driving a minivan isn't an issue. He wants a flame job on the van. He reads voaraciously. He still plays with LEGOs and w...

So I have danced can can for several years. Sometimes we get good costumes....and sometimes not. They have been black and purple, Hot pink and neon yellow, too-revealing in pink and black, and most recently peacock blue. We have bought cheap costumes and expensive costumes, but as in most things...you get what you pay for. The "Big Bird" Feathered-$79 The $120 Costumes This year, we were told they are *gasp* $22! I think they expected us to jump up and down, cheering that we save...

> A Different Christmas Poem > > The embers glowed softly, and in their dim > light, > I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight. > My wife was asleep, her head on my chest, > My daughter beside me, angelic in rest. > Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white, > Transforming the yard to a winter delight. > The sparkling lights in the tree I believe, > Completed the magic that was Christmas Eve. > My eyelids were heavy, my breathing was deep, > Secure and surrounded by love...
