I love pictures of my kids. I love having pictures displayed on my walls, on my computer and in my wallet. I love to see the ones I love and remember moments I loved as I look at pictures.
I wanted "good" pictures and didn't feel like my meesly efforts were worth hanging up. So I dutifully went to a studio and handed over money.....But I hate paying the overcharged prices for subpar pictures at overcrowded studios where after my kids have waited so long they are overti...

Hyperborean Wanderer wasn't impressed but I've wanted to try to do this shot for a long time and I finally got my shot on Sat. I've been begging all the pregnant chicks in Texas to let me try it and my friend Leila's boy was the first to arrive! (3 weeks early too!) Woo Hoo!
I love how it turned out but I can already see where I can improve it....so someone else needs to have a baby!
My daughter has the overwhelming urge to eat my food. Specifically, my oatmeal.
It seems as though every time I make oatmeal,no matter how many servings I make....she is begging for more and ends up eating my breakfast. I swear, it happens all the time. I've even made 4 servings so there would be lots extra....but to no avail. She still will eat until it is all gone.
Eating mine before they wake up is a guarenteed way to ensure that both kids hate the sigh...
Back story....
1)Today is a big unit function that is so we can celebrate the great, wonderful support that this group gave our soldiers while they were in Iraq. It starts before the kids get out of school, so I have to pick boy up early.
2) Last night, after Boy's Parent Teacher Conference (yeah, he's doing great.) the electrical system on the van went all wonky. The lights and blinkers didn't' work. The sliding doors wouldn't open. Grr. So we headed over to the Ho...

I was so so incredibly excited.

The first time I flew, I could feel my handgrips slipping, so I took them off and just chalked my hands. I felt my hands abrading already, so I used tape to make better grips....and it didnt' help. I tore the heck out of my hands today. It was so bad that I couldn't even finish the class. I gave up my last 3 spots to another girl who was doing great.

For everyone out in Joeuser land, I'd like to take this opportunity to say that BFD is one of the greatest guys I've ever met. I could wax elouquent about his many talents and skills but I'm actually not that good at waxing elouquent....suffice it to say that he is a stablilizing factor on a great number of people and his influence has affected many lives.
