MMMMMMMMMM.......yummy homemade strawberry jam on the right and on the left, "Triple Berry with a kick"

Making jam isn't nearly as difficult as it seems. You just need fruit, pectin and a whole lot of sugar!

Thanks to mom and Mamie for teaching me how!

My husband's cousin goes above and beyond by growing his own grapes to make his jelly out of. Awesome stuff! I have never taken the time to make any but why should I when the cousin is doing it for us?

Is it difficult?

No, it's not difficult. Measure fruit and sugar according to the recipie in the pectin box. Cook crushed fruit and pectin, add sugar, boil EXACTLY one min. pour into clean jars, put lids on and turn them upside down. Unless you are at a high altitude, you can just do the upside-down-method of canning jam. (there are a few more details, but the box has all the steps)

why should I when the cousin is doing it for us?

That's the way to go!
