Stupid Warning Labels....
Published on November 22, 2005 By lifehappens In Humor
My last post made me think of all the dumb warning labels out there. The warnings are there because either
1-the company thinks we are really stupid or
2-some really stupid person actually tried this. (some moron somewhere in the US is missing an eye due to a mishap with a 7-up bottle.)

The Army is good for this. On the MRE heaters, it says "Do Not Eat Heater" a few years later I noticed that the newer MREs also contained the warning...Do Not Drink the Water. Apparently someone drank the water they used to activate the heater....sigh.

Lawnmowers: do not touch blade while mower is running.

McDs: HOT coffee!

On a Band-Aid box: "For serious injuries, seek medical attention."

children's cough medicine stating "Caution: May cause drowsiness; do not drive or operate heavy machinery"

Seen on a container of salt:
Warning: High in sodium

spray paint: "Do not spray in your face."

bathtub cleaner: For best results, start with clean bathtub before use.

On a container of lighter fluid: WARNING: Contents flammable!

For external use only!" -- On a curling iron.

"Warning: This product can burn eyes." -- On a curling iron.

"Do not use in shower." -- On a hair dryer.

"Do not use while sleeping." -- On a hair dryer.

"Do not drive with sunshield in place." -- On a cardboard sunshield that keeps the sun off the dashboard.

"Please keep out of children." -- On a butcher knife. *OUCH!*

"Do not iron clothes on body." -- On packaging for a Rowenta iron

"Warning: May contain nuts." -- On a package of peanuts.

7 Up-Contents under pressure. Cap may blow off causing eye or other serious injury. Point away from face and people, especially when opening.

So Any other good ones?"

I believe many warnings are there because people are greedy and will put themselves through extreme pain and humiliation to become rich through law suits.

I've heard, there are warnings on most new irons saying "Do not iron clothing while wearing"! basically they're there to void law-suits by the absolute morons that do these incredibly stupid things and cant admit to thier own appawling I.Q. rating. I agree dude, this world gets more fools in it everyday!

Sad, but TRUE.
