I'm posting some shots from a Halloween party...kind of a run-through for the real deal. I'm realizing what I need to do to fix our costumes. This is my first attempt at making costumes for my kids. I have a few things to fix, My daughter is Tinkerbell, but I need to work on finding a better method of getting her wings to stay on.
and here I am in my sari. not the best photo of me...but girl is cute!
And last but most certainly not least, is someone dressed up at Captian Hook fighting Peter Pan (my crazy son). I won't name any names and I have placed a protective black rectangle over his face to protect his identity.

Love the theme for the costumes. I miss when my boys were little enough for me to push them to be what I wanted them to. One year they were the tin man and scarecrow. Then they were jedi knights. We did the patriotic thing one year, Bret was a Navy Seal, Brendan a Marine and Brody was uncle Sam. I'm trying to talk them into being Elvis impersonators or Kiss but they won't goe for it. They're no fun anymore.

Actually, my son is the one who picked the costumes. I figured the day would come soon enough when he wouldn't be involved so I gave in. I am now the proud owner of a blue nightgown now so I can be Wendy.....
and thank you on all the complements....Mamie...you should know we are always mushy!
