a place to put random discourses on life
Peter Pan as seen my my son.

It's hard enough to get my son to give me a straight answer to anything, but I wanted to see what he thought of Disney's Peter Pan. Here is an excerpt from the conversation. I had a hard time getting the "How many three year olds does it take to change a light bulb?" joke out of my head. If you haven't heard it...the answer is at the end.

“I like Deter Pan! He’s Cool! He can fly to the moon and save the guy in the water and he flies when he gets the yewwow stuff on him.

“The yellow stuff is pixie dust. Who gives Peter Pan pixie dust?”

“Jingle Bell!”

“Who else is in the movie?”

“Wendy and John and....and Michael and they go out and save the girl and they see innians and then the bad guys with guns don’t shoot at them.”

“The bad guy pirates?”

“No, just bad guys”

"Who is the bad guy?"

"Captian Hook is that bad pirate. He shoots at Deter Pan and croc-dile likes to eat them! And.. And… and the pirates are bad guys and they are in a pirate boat.”

Is that your favorite movie?”

“NO. …. I can fly to the moon too in my rocket ship and then Peter Pan can have a hat with a FEATHER in it!”
***pause****
"Oh no! My rocket ship is broken. I want to go to the moon!"

***Answer: "Let's go ride bikes......wow! look at that!"***"

So cute! Kids do have opinions and observations don't they. It's always interesting to me to talk to the wee little ones and hear what they're thinking!
