a place to put random discourses on life
The mind of a boy is a curious thing.

I decided a few months ago to start reading a scripture every night with my son. We also memorize one scripture every month as part of our daily devotionals.
This month was from the Doctrine and Covenants
"Behold, mine house is a house of order, saith the Lord God and not a house of confusion."
(I chose it as part of my New Year's resolution to get organized.)

Connor has a hard time saying the word confusion and says "fusion". After we talked about what it meant, he started saying house of fusion in a deep "bad guy" voice. So funny! Although this is cute, it gets better. Connor said it for the first time sans prompts on Sunday, in the car as we drove to church. Then, as we passed a pawn shop, I heard his little voice pipe up from the back seat..."Mommy, Is that the house of fusion?"

I just wonder how long he was thinking about it before he finally asked!
