The concept being that every time you get one right, they donate 10 grains of rice to UN foodbanks. This is all based on the minimal ads that float on the bottom of the screen. I'm sure that this adds up pretty quickly with a large number of people playing, but 1000 grains of rice is about 1 cup....so it's not a big donation individually, but just on the 19th of November they raised 7333 lbs of rice.
So why not waste some time, learn some vocab and donate rice?
