So, I have a
Sunburn,
tons of bug bites
blisters on both hands
ropeburn on one palm
raw skin from the guards that I put on to protect my blisters
a matching set of bruises on my hips (from the pull and shoot)
A raw wound on the back of my right knee (with matching bruise from not pushing through on my back end splits)
A nice scrape from knee to ankle (hit the bar on the catch for my front end splits-won't do THAT again)
bruises on the tops of both feet (from the bird's nest AKA backbend at 50 feet up)

AND I FREAKING LOVE IT!!!!!

My back aches a little bit from having Undarmaa very gently show me just exactly how flexible I really am. I think i have a hobby to work on for when my fly time is on summer hiatus.....Check out her bag o'tricks here. The video is old but she is just as good now. Link She is my hero and I'm hoping to learn some stuff from her before she takes off. Unfortunately, Austin is a long way to drive for lessons, so I'll just hit her up for help at trapeze lessons.

That's really cool. I'm sure your husband will appreciate it, haha.

You remember that episode of the Simpsons where they're at the circus and Marge says watching the contortionists gives her ideas? Haha, and then you see her thought bubble and she's cleaning all pretzel-ed? LOL.

That's very good. Is it typical to do that at night?

The last class is 7-9 and it does get dark by the end of class. They have spotlights up so it's brighter than it apears in the video. This was an advanced class and I think that most (if not all) of the late classes are intermediat or advanced.

BTW that move is a "front end bird's nest"
