Today we started the demolision phase of our construction project! From this point on we are past the point of no return. We are in it for the long haul.
Good thing I'm positive about this, huh? I hope!
Our poor little boy was torn as to whether it was cool or a bad idea to let some guy break our porch! He had a lot of fun watching it, but then worriedly asked me why I would let "that guy break our porch" and told me "it's not good to break our house. He shouldn't break our house, mom."
Hopefully HW won't be too truamatized by all the goings on. I'm excited, but he's never been one for change. I hope he is relaxed and stress free the entire time.....(me too!)

Neat-o! How'd you do that?
(I wouldn't comprehend the specifics of how your porch was torn down--but how did you animate the picture?)

Men at play - look out!
WHY DOES EVERYONE ASSUME THAT ONLY MEN LIKE TO DESTROY STUFF?!?!?!?!
Neat-o! How'd you do that?
1-I hired a guy to saw it off.
2- I took a series of closely timed pictures
3-I opened the pictures in Adobe Photoshop and layered them so that the ridgeline of the house was aligned.
4-I moved the new 3 layered picture to Adobe Image Ready and created a slideshow.
-Window-Animation
-Then click the add new button, repeat and change the visible layer each time.
- I saved it as a GIF and posted it on tinypic.com. (They will post video as well, but I dont' have any digital video camera equipt.)
It's basically the same process to create a blinkie, but I"m sure there is an easier way. This just happens to be the way I figured out.
