A friend of mine lost her brother the day after he graduated from AIT. He died in a car accident that was just that...an accident. I worried about my friend for quite a while. At first she blamed herself to suggesting that route and for not insisting he rest before leaving and for a million other "shoulda coulda wouldas" But I think she is going to be okay. I happened to snag a pic of her brother walking on the beach while serving a mission(right before he joined the military) and came up with this for her. What else am I going to do with it? So I'm sharing it with ya'll here.

Very sad. Sometimes it's hard for people not to torture themselves with "shoulda, coulda, woulda" thoughts. I hope his sister's doing all right. That's a gorgeous piece of art you created.
What else am I going to do with it?
Are you going to give it to your friend? I think she might appreciate it, if not immediately, perhaps she'll cherish it someday. Her heart is probably filled with a million emotions right now.

Are you going to give it to your friend?
I did.
Sometimes it's hard for people not to torture themselves with "shoulda, coulda, woulda" thoughts
That seems to be the hardest part sometimes.
That is a beautiful tribute and picture.
He led a beautiful life. The kind of guy you hope your son is friends with and your daughter marries. The son who everyone loves and adores. That's part of why it's so hard....he was the one son in a family of 7 daughters. He was a great guy.
