The military does voice an opinion....I  saw this on another blog and had to grin.  I wonder how long it will take for the mainstreet manic Obama-facination to wane. Notice who Obama pays attention to at the end of his speech....is it the average everyday working joe he claims to support?

WHAT THE *&%($@&%????? I was following up on a friend's blog this morning and when I saw what she posted I just about lost it. She cut and pasted a clip from Democracynow. (see below) NSA: “No Attack Happened” in Gulf of Tonkin Newly declassified documents have provided more evidence the Johnson administration faked the Gulf of Tonkin incident to escalate the Vietnam War. The alleged 1964 attack on U.S. warships by North Vietnamese was used as a pretext to ...

I got this email and I thought I'd post it here. I can see a few big flaws in this idea (mainly dealing with my husband's work schedule) but it did make me smile....Enjoy! ********************************** THE LAW IS THE LAW So if the US government determines that it is against the law for the words "under God" to be on our money, then, so be it. And if that same government decides that the "Ten Commandments" are not to be used in or on a government installation, then, so be...

I try not to simply repost other people's thoughts, but I couldn't have said it better..... A Thank-You Letter in This Time of War This Thanksgiving there are thousands of people I have never met, to whom I owe a debt that cannot be repaid. To you, Marine, still weary from the battle house to house in Fallujah, whom we called upon to overcome your natural fear and go into combat in our cause: What went through your mind and heart in those days of fighting is between you and your fe...

Close your eyes and imagine a white man stepping up to a podium and saying the following statement.... "Black voters are 'afraid' of electronic voting machines. They are not tech-savy and will be intimidated by touch screen voting systems and therefore be less likely to vote." Would you be appalled? Angry that someone could make such a negative generalized statement? What would you think of a person who could say that? I heard that statement on Mike Gallagher's show this morning. C...

Mud-Covered Presidents During his first presidential campaign, he was vilified and ridiculed, not for his ideas, but for his unpolished appearance and his folksy accent and his lack of education. They called him stupid, an ape, a country bumpkin, and made fun of the way he pronounced his words. His enemies declared that his election would be the end of everything good in the world. They threatened to leave the United States if he won -- this despite the fact that he was certainly the ...

Every member of my family for the last 3 generations has served in the military. Why? Not because of the great pay, but because we havepatriotism and a longstanding belief that you get what you pay for.... See the article on Free Ice Cream by Draginol -it has NOTHING to do with my post except for the following quote that mademe think.... He made a really great point...." I've learned something interesting: if you give away ice cream, eventually a lot of people will complain abou...

While driving to work this morning, i happened to catch a quote by Howard Dean. He was talking about how terorist threats and terror warnings should NOT be made public, they "cause too much panic" and stress among everyday people. The only people who should be given this information are public officials and emergency response teams..... WHAT THE HELL?!?!?! Please tell me that I heard him wrong, "let's NOT tell people that they are are a higher risk...." Brilliant idea. So in the...
